FINK Home and Nature opens in Boroughbridge encouraging REFILL – REUSE – RESPECT

FINK Home and Nature opened its doors at 32 High Street Boroughbridge on Saturday 28th July at 10am with a range of ecologically aware health & beauty, household, and garden products. The philosophy is REFILL – REUSE – RESPECT and the aim is to provide options for environmentally friendly shopping that helps everyone reduce their plastic use.

At the same time FINK’s successful chocolate boutique SweetFINK will merge with its nationally recognised, award winning fine food counterpart at 14 High Street to create a one-stop shop for those looking for the finest in local, seasonal produce, speciality food ingredients and gourmet gifts.

“We will be starting with a relatively small range of products at FINK Home and Nature,” says Hugh Fink, Director of the businesses. “We are responding to a growing demand for refillable, ethical products and are really keen to have suggestions from our customers about which products they would like to see in the shop.”

FINK Home and Nature will be launching with a range of laundry and household cleaning products from the well known Ecover brand and Hull-based Bio-D. The shop will also stock ethical health and beauty collections from Faith in Nature, Big Green Tree and York’s own Cosy Cottage Soap Company, as well as wild bird food, pet treats and garden gifts.

“We thought it would be logical to move all of our non-food products into FINK Home and Nature and keep the food side of the business at FINK,” says Sharon Longcroft, FINK’s co-director.  “Thanks to our recent shop refit at FINK we now have more space for exciting new products and look forward to welcoming new customers to Boroughbridge High Street.”
